About Salary

A few days ago, I tried to check the subscription prices for Claude AI. Antrophic offers two main plans: the Pro plan and Max plan with latter offering higher features. However, the features are not main issues in here; the real problem lies in the pricing itself; the price for the Pro is $20,00 which means Rp 357.770,00 (three hundred fifty-seven thousand seven hundred seventy rupiah) dated 4 oct, 2026. Meanwhile, Max plan’s price is for $100,00¹ which means Rp 1.788.850,00 (one million seven hundred eighty-eight eigh hundred fifty rupiah).

The real problem araises when we have to compare it. If we compare with average income in Indonesia which is the average income (by Google) is Rp 6,7 million for a month,² we can pay: eighteen times subs for Pro plan and three times subscribtion for Max plan.

I have to be honest. I put my calculation in a simplified-assumption; but, if we compare the problem of individual economy-power or individual purchasing power between Indonesian and European or American, we will find who the one lives in America—with their salary—can pay two hundred times the subscribing Pro plan of Claude AI and they can subscribe for Max plan for three times just with monthly salary. It is important to note that this calculation number—three times—is that number is for three years of Max plan subscription. It means that one who gets a big salary—like an American—can pay $1.200 of subscription just with their amonth of salary. But what about us as Indonesians?

Who gets a inadequacy values of salary.

Is that our fault or is it about how the goverment is'nt compentance to govern?

I think that we have a problem in inferance; few days ago, there was a woman who confide about increasing of the living cost: She needed to spend Rp 56.000 just for a chicken. But after that, there was a comment saying that woman confiding is by a that woman problem. That comment just want to emphesize that the woman is poor, so better she--tha woman who confided--get a job.

But, I think, "Is that a problem about moda? Is it about the broken systme?"

2. I take a higher values. But, that value is obtained from macrto-counting of Macro Economy. If we collect from a real-field, we will get a value: 1.x million.
